Pastor's Vision

Collinsville Christian Academy has been in existence since 1982 when it began in a storefront building with forty-three students, four teachers, and under the name of Son Life Christian School. Many changes have occurred within the last eighteen years, but the purpose and vision remain the same. We, the faculty and staff of C.C.A., desire to impact the lives of the next generation for the Kingdom of Christ. We seek to conform every academic discipline along with every methodology, fact, and presupposition to God’s revealed word. We seek more than secular education sprinkled with morning prayer or required chapel services. We seek to impart a comprehensive Christian world and life view, because either the Bible is the final standard of all human thought or else the logic of the self-appointed autonomous mind of man is the standard. If the Bible is not the standard of all truth, then the reasoning of man stands as the epoch to which we look. If, however, the Bible is the standard, then the humanistic speculations must bow to the revelation of God. We at C.C.A. have chosen our side and determined our course – God’s word is the final authority of all human conduct. To the impartation of this belief do we labor to invest ourselves for the redemption of a generation that will build their lives after the standard of God’s immutable Word.

As pastors of Son Life Church, we would like to offer our thanksgiving to God for His call and grace to provide this area with a Christian school. We wish also to express our indebtedness to the staff of CCA for their loving labors to bring to pass the vision and our appreciation to the parents and students who have faithfully and patiently supported the school through their finances, their help, and their prayer. It is our sincere desire and the petition of our hearts that the favor of God will enable us to increase the quality, the scope, and the influence of Collinsville Christian Academy.
